Colleagues:

With the successful launch of the new journal, Transformative Social Impact (see inaugural issue attached or here)I wanted to share a call for submissions for the next issue of the journal (also attached, or see here).

Transformative Social Impact is a multidisciplinary, practitioner-oriented academic journal dedicated to advancing community-engaged scholarship, teaching, and collaborative research for social change. Our mission is to connect researchers, educators, students, practitioners, and community stakeholders in their efforts to address complex social issues and drive transformative community impact. Our aim is to provide an accessible, jargon-free publishing space that bridges the gap between academic theory and community-based practice.

Through collaborative, reciprocal partnerships, Transformative Social Impact amplifies community-university engagement that transforms teaching, research, and service to address complex social challenges and promote equitable, sustainable change. We welcome submissions from researchers, educators, students, and community practitioners across a diverse range of disciplines.

Transformative Social Impact accepts submissions on a rolling basis, but for best consideration for the next issue, please get submissions in by July 31. All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer review process. Detailed submission guidelines can be found on the website: transformativesocialimpact.org. We aim for rapid dissemination and accepted submissions will be published via online early access, with a target of August/September 2025 for the publication of the next issue.

To submit a proposal, please visit our online submission system at transformativesocialimpact.org and please let me know if you have any questions.

We look forward to receiving your submissions and to this new journal dedicated to transformative community engagement and social impact.

Thanks for your support and please let me know if you have any questions!
