One week left to apply for NYLC's Youth Advisory Council!

There’s just one week left to apply for the National Youth Leadership Council’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC)! This is a unique opportunity for young leaders (in grades 9-12) from across the United States to bring their voice, ideas, and passion for service-learning, civic engagement, and youth voice to a national platform.

As a member of the YAC, youth will:

✅ Shape national conversations around youth leadership, education, and civic engagement

✅ Collaborate with NYLC staff and board members to provide youth perspective on programming, training, and outreach

✅ Design and lead workshops at the National Service-Learning Conference® and other events

✅ Work alongside like-minded changemakers from across the U.S.

✅ Grow leadership, communication, and facilitation skills through ongoing training and mentorship

YAC members serve a two-year term from 2025-27. Meetings take place virtually, typically once a month, and members are expected to commit approximately 2-4 hours per month to council activities.
