Dear Patricia,

We apologize that you did not receive the link for today's session. An email for registered attendees was sent two days prior to the event and again today prior to the start.  We strive to provide a great experience for everyone. We will review what may have happened with your registration and why you did not receive the communications.

Sincerely,
The NYLC team

As the clock tickets to 10 minutes after the hour the Global Insights: International Service-Learning Panel is being held (Wednesday, November 13, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST), I want to say how deeply disappointed I am that I never received the promised link to the Zoom call, so I am not attending. I actually filled out the registration form at least three times, thinking I may have done something wrong on the form or only thought I had registered.

If "International Service-Learning" means anything, it should include people like myself who have trained faculty in SL in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia at both the K-12 and university level.

You’re invited to join the Global Insights: International Service-Learning Panel on Wednesday, November 13, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST.

Service-learning connects academic learning with meaningful community engagement—but its greatest lessons often emerge when we look beyond our own borders. This session will explore how service-learning is being shaped and reimagined by diverse cultures and communities around the world.

Through best practices, case studies, and interactive dialogue, participants will gain:

  • Insights into how international models emphasize authentic partnership, cultural humility, and community-driven goals.

  • Practical strategies to integrate global perspectives into service-learning programs.

  • Inspiration from educators and practitioners helping young people lead change across borders.

Join us to discover how the world’s classrooms, communities, and cultures can expand our vision of service-learning and inspire us to build more just, connected, and resilient societies.
