Dear colleagues,

If you are looking to strengthen your impact through service-learning, we invite you to join Uniting for Good: A Virtual Gathering on April 22, 2026.

Hosted by NYLC, this one-day Service-Learning Symposium brings together educators, young people, and community leaders for a dynamic, interactive experience focused on advancing youth engagement and community impact. Designed to move beyond passive learning, the symposium emphasizes collaboration, practical application, and meaningful connection.

Participants will engage in keynote conversations with leading voices in service-learning and youth development, as well as interactive workshops on timely topics such as youth voice, equity, and community partnership building. The day also includes opportunities to network with peers from across the country and around the world, collaborate in real time, and access resources and strategies that can be implemented immediately.

To complement your symposium experience, two optional add-on sessions are available on April 22. Docuthon: Stories for Change (8:30–9:30 AM CDT) features youth-created films from around the world, offering powerful insights into the issues young people are addressing in their communities. Hackathon: Trailers for the Planet (4:30–5:30 PM CDT) is a hands-on, collaborative experience where participants work together to develop short film trailers that present innovative solutions to global challenges. Both sessions require pre-registration and are free to attend.

We hope you will join us for this engaging and impactful day.

Best,
