Hello,

My name is Jack Seelye. I am a sixth-year student in the School of Professional Psychology at Spalding University in Louisville, KY. I am inviting you and others you may know to join in a study about burnout in K-12 educators. The purpose of this study is to explore the impact COVID-19 had on rates of burnout in K-12 educators.

To participate, you must be 18 years or older, be employed in the U.S. as a K-12 educator, and must have been consistently employed as a K-12 educator since the 2018-2019 academic year. You will be asked to complete a 20-30 minute online survey, answering questions regarding your perceived level of burnout as an educator. These questions will assess your current level of satisfaction and motivation toward your job as an educator, your perceived level of satisfaction and motivation toward your job as an educator prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, and how/if the COVID-19 pandemic had an effect on your overall mental well-being. Your name will not be linked to your responses. Also, there is no penalty for withdrawing from this study at any time.
