Dear colleagues,


We are inviting U.S.-based students in grades 6 through 12 to share their vision of how working together for the common good strengthens communities. Whether through an essay, video, audio piece, or visual art, this contest challenges young people to think critically and creatively about civic engagement, service, and community impact.


Each category winner will receive a $1,000 prize. Winners will be announced during Civic Learning Week, March 9 to 13, 2026.


Please remind the young people in your network:

  • Only one entry per student

  • All submissions must be original work (no AI)

  • Parental or guardian consent is required for students under 18


If students are still polishing their ideas, encourage them to finalize and submit now. The deadline will not be extended.


All entries must be submitted by Sunday at 11:59 PM CST.
