Join Us for the Voices of Change Panel During Civic Learning Week!


There are only two weeks left to register for the Voices of Change Panel: Service-Learning and Civic Engagement on March 12, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM CDT. This event will bring together youth leaders, educators, and service-learning experts for a thought-provoking discussion on how service-learning fosters civic engagement and empowers the next generation of leaders.


Meet the Speakers:

Ace’s passion for equity in education stems from his experience immigrating to the U.S. as a child. He now works to expand civic education opportunities nationwide.

A political science graduate at just 18, Kayla is a leader in civic engagement, working to mobilize young people and build sustainable community coalitions.

Michelle.jpg Michelle Herczog, Program Manager at Californians for Civic Learning & Co-Director of the California Civic Learning Initiative at Teach Democracy – Dr. Michelle Herczog is a nationally recognized expert in U.S. history and civics education, serving as Program Manager of Californians for Civic Learning and Co-Director of the California Civic Learning Initiative at Teach Democracy. A Past President of NCSS and contributor to the C3 Framework, she is dedicated to preparing students for informed, engaged participation in democracy.
