Join us! This session explores representations of stories from the Holocaust through arts integration. The Holocaust must be remembered and portrayed as a human event: not an inevitable event that occurred in history. In creating artworks about LMC Unsung Heroes from the Holocaust, students need to consider their work from various angles: Who is the intended audience? Is this work seen as historical, personal, or perhaps to send a message? Participants will examine how artworks can be created in keeping with educational philosophy, in an age-appropriate manner.
