NBEC STEAM Teachers,
Due to the increased popularity of our STEAM Lab, we have configured a reservation system to better help those of you who request our STEAM resources and to help us better plan the logistics of getting you those STEAM Resources. Everything you need to know about our STEAM Lab can be found on the
PLG Northwest Ohio STEAM Lab Web Page.
Essentially, we now have a publicly viewable calendar of our resources' availability and a STEAM Lab Reservation form for STEAM teachers to request use of our resources. Here are the simple steps to follow:
- Go to our web page (bookmark so you don't have to search for it).
- If you already know our resources and the specific resources you are interested in then scroll down to the calendar to see if the specific resources are available for the time frame you are desiring them.
- Remember these are available to all NWOESC/NBEC member schools.
- They can only be checked out for a maximum 2 week block.
- If the resources are available then click the button to go to the STEAM Lab Reservation Form. Input your information and the approval process will begin.
- Once we have approved availability, delivery, pickup and any tech coaching, we will receive a confirmation email of your request.
- When the time comes for your delivery, you should get an email from the PLG staff person who will be bringing the resources to you (or if you've arranged a pickup/dropoff).
The form is open and ready for use. We have already begun using it and know that there could be some bugs going forward but are hopeful that we can work them out and that this new setup will help us provide you with better service.
