Good Morning STEAM list members!

With the school year rapidly coming to an end I wanted to remind you of an opportunity to learn and share with other teachers in early June before you checkout for the summer. The CREATE conference is on June 5th. It will be held at Maumee High School . My team from the PLG will be leading the keynote session with a digital escape room activity which will get you thinking and will model ideas that you can use in your classroom in the fall.

Greetings NW Ohio Educators,

We have opened up registration for the 2025 CREATE! Conference, in collaboration with Maumee City Schools, Applied Innovation, the Northern Buckeye Education Council, Bluum and the University of Toledo Herb Innovation Center. CREATE! 2025 will be held on June 5th at Maumee High School. We are excited to announce that this year’s keynote will feature members of the Northern Buckeye Education Council as they focus on the creation of interactive, engaging learning through innovative instructional design.

Led by members of NBEC, this year’s keynote will immerse attendees in a dynamic breakout/escape room activity—an experiential lesson that brings constructivist instructional design to life. Participants will actively engage in problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, experiencing firsthand how these elements can be seamlessly integrated into effective teaching:
