We have two new board members.* The board seats are moving to two-year terms, and they will be staggered. The non-officer members have one-year terms, so that three seats will be up for election in November. After that, all terms will be two years.

Eric Rosenberry (Ziply, Vice President)
Jeff Brandt* (JeffColo, Treasurer)

The board did a routine review of port prices in 2024 (the last review was in 2021). Despite the recent inflationary period, NWAX is able to maintain the same port prices for 2025.
Starting January 1, 2025, NWAX will apply a surcharge on port fees at facilities where we incur colocation and associated expenses. The surcharge structure will be:
$15 for 10G port and paid additional 1G ports
$30 for 25G port
$100 for 100G port
At this time, these surcharges will apply only to ports at the Pittock Block. Fees at all other NWAX sites remain unchanged. No-cost 1G ports will continue to be offered at all locations.
NWAX added a switch at Ziply’s Somerset CO in Beaverton in the fall. There is already one member connecting from the new location. In this diagram, you can see how the new site is connected to the network.
Our donors continue to be one of the keys to the success of NWAX. We greatly appreciate their continued support.
