It is my great pleasure to announce that Facebook has joined the IX!

It is always a great day when we get to announce another major content source to the IX. This will further help support everyone as we find different ways to interact with each other online during this pandemic.

A huge shoutout to Jeff Ringwelski, Patrick Matthies, Luiz Gustavo Rosas, Danilo Mayorga, and the rest of the Facebook crew for making this one happen. This deployment was made especially challenging due to logistics issues around COVID19. ;-)

Also, additional thanks to the entire NWAX engineering crew as upgrades / additions such as these are what is/was driving the need for core backbone link improvements that we have continued to make (more on that soon...). Keeping the IX congestion free is a top priority!
