Version 26.08 releases: Enhanced Touch Gestures, ObjPad, Resource Monitor

Hi all,

The following add-ons will receive updates in the next few days (via NV Access add-on store):

• Enhanced Touch Gestures 26.08
• ObjPad 26.08
• Resource Monitor 26.08

All of them will include localization updates. In addition:

ObjPad:

• In NVDA 2026.2 running on non-touch devices or portable versions, added ObjPad settings (NVDA settings screen) to configure browse mode navigation elements.

Resource monitor:

• Added Resource Monitor category to NVDA settings to configure GPU temperature reporting unit between Celcius and Fahrenheit (contributed by hexxbyte).
• Added an unassigned command to announce GPU (graphics processing unit) memory usage information (contributed by hexxbyte).
• Pressing NVDA+Shift+3 to report disk usage information will include mapped network drives if connected (contributed by hexxbyte).
• Removed battery status reporting feature. Pressing NVDA+Shift+4 will now report wireless connection status. For battery status, use NVDA's own battery status command (NVDA+Shift+B).

IMPORTANT: future versions of Enhanced Touch Gestures and ObjPad will require upcoming NVDA 2026.2. Therefore, version 26.08 will be the last release to support NVDA 2025.3.3 and 2026.1.x. Versions requiring NVDA 2026.2 will be released shortly after the upcoming NVDA version is released to everyone (stable version is published by NV Access).
