I am using Windows 11 24h2 and nvda 2025.3. When I change to bangla input method from english, I can write without any issue. Nvda announces character.
However, when I change to an English keyboard from Bangla, nvda does not announce words and characters. I have to change the window and return to the window where I was writing. then, nvda announces character and word. How can I fix it?

Hi from Lebanon!

Although my laptop is illigeable for Windows 11, I never diverted to it
yet. If you are using another screen-reader besides NVDA, are you
facing such problem?

Best regards,

Hi Farhan,

Is this with a specific program, eg Microsoft Word or Notepad?  And can you confirm the exact steps please?

What keystroke / steps are you using to change keyboard language?

I am pressing windows + space to change language.
I am noticing on Google Chrome 140.0.7339.187, Firefox 143.0.1, LibreOffice 25.8.1.1 and BeMyEyes.BeMyEyes 1.0.2358.0.
However, I am not noticing on Microsoft.WindowsNotepad 11.2507.26.0, WhatsAppDesktop 2.2535.3.0 and UnigramPreview 11.14.6.0.
