Hi all,

I hope you are doing well.

I would like to seek your suggestions regarding an issue I am experiencing with Excel hyperlinks across two different Windows 11 systems.

I am a partially visually impaired user and use **NVDA 2026.1** along with **Windows High Contrast mode** for better accessibility. I have an Excel workbook that contains a column with organization website links. These links are already formatted as hyperlinks.

I have noticed the following behavior:

* On one system (Dell laptop running Windows 11 with NVDA 2026.1), pressing **Enter** or **Ctrl+Enter** on a hyperlink opens the website as expected.
* On another system (Acer laptop, also running Windows 11 with NVDA 2026.1), the same hyperlinks do not open when I press **Enter** or **Ctrl+Enter**.

Both systems have the same operating system and NVDA version, so I am trying to understand what configuration or setting might be causing this difference.

I have also observed another issue related to High Contrast mode:

* When High Contrast is **turned off**, all hyperlinks are displayed correctly in the standard hyperlink color (blue), making them easy to identify visually.
* When High Contrast is **turned on**, only some hyperlinks appear in a different hyperlink color, while others appear as normal text, even though they are still functioning as hyperlinks.

Has anyone experienced similar behavior or knows what might be causing this? Is there a recommended setting or workaround to ensure hyperlinks are displayed consistently while using High Contrast mode?

Additionally, I would appreciate any suggestions on the following:

* Are there any Windows, Microsoft Office, or NVDA settings that could resolve the hyperlink activation issue?
* Are there any recommended NVDA add-ons or Microsoft Office tools that make working with hyperlinks easier for accessibility users?
* If there are any other workarounds or best practices, I would be grateful if you could share them.

Any suggestions, comments, or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Kind regards,

Sharath
