Hi all,

The following add-on updates will be made availalbe form NV Access add-on store soon:
  • Enhanced Touch Gestures 26.07
  • ObjPad 26.07
  • Resource Monitor 26.07
  • StationPlaylist 26.07 (LTS)
  • Windows App Essentials 26.07
Notes:
  • Changelogs for the following add-ons are removed from add-on help (readme) file: Enhanced Touch Gestures, ObjPad, Resource monitor, StationPlaylist.
  • Version 26.07 will be the last planned NVDA 2025.3.3 compatible release for the following add-ons: Enhanced Touch Gestures, ObjPad, StationPlaylist, Windows App Essentials. The next planned stable releases for these add-ons will require latest NVDA stable version in circulation (2026.1.1 or 2026.2). I recommend upgrading to NVDA 2026.1.1 no later than July 1, 2026.
  • The following add-ons will require upcoming NVDA 2026.2 in the future: Enhanced Touch Gestures, ObjPad, Windows App Essentials. Versions requiring NVDA 2026.2 will be released shortly after NVDA 2026.2 stable version is published by NV Access.
  • There is a possibility that localization updates will be released for Enhanced Touch Gestures, ObjPad, and Resource Monitor in July.
  • StationPlaylist: version 26.0-7.x is the last add-on release to support NVDA 2025.3.3 and include localization data. Version 26.08 will remove localization data as StationPlaylist suite of applications are not localized at all (Joseph Lee's add-on localization policy update: for app modules, apps without localizations in circulation will not be localized). Also, this is the last release to formally support SPL suite 6.0/6.01.

Changelog:
All add-ons except Windows App Essentials:
* Removed add-on changelog from add-on help (readme) file.

Enhanced Touch Gestures:
* The "default (all elements)" mode in touch browse mode is now called "default" mode to match NVDA 2026.2 messaging.
* If running NVDA 2026.2, NVDA will no longer appear to do nothing or play error tones when performing browse touch mode commands in web browsers while navigator object is located somewhere other than the document content.

ObjPad:
* If running NVDA 2026.2, add-on browse mode elements will be limited to default (all elements), headings, tables, links, form fields, and lists. On touchscreen computers, additional browse mode elements can be added via NVDA's browse mode settings.
* The "default (all elements)" mode in browse mode is now called "default" mode to match messaging from NVDA 2026.2's touch browse mode.
* Added graphics navigation to browse mode (NVDA 2025.3.3 and 2026.1).

Resource Monitor:
* Changed CPU load and wireless network status announcements to show average CPU load percentage first and made network status reporting less verbose, respectively.
* NVDA will no longer repeat wireless network status announcements when the add-on is reloaded without first restarting NVDA (Control+NVDA+F3).
* NVDA will no longer announce GPU information in secure screens due to how the feature works internally.
* Battery status anouncement command (NVDA+Shift+4) and announcing battery info as part of the overall resource usage information (NVDA+Shift+E) are deprecated and will be removed in a future add-on release (NVDA provides its own battery status command (NVDA+Shift+B)).

StationPlaylist:
* In local and Remote Studio, NVDA will show "SPL Assistant" message in braille when entering SPL Assistant layer commands.

Windows App Essentials:
* Initial support for Windows 11 Version 26H2 (2026 Update).

Cheers,
Joseph
