Is anyone aware of reasons not to use a MS Surface running Snapdragon with NVDA?

Thanks

Hi!

No problem using NVDA in a Windows 11 ARM, meaning use of a SnapDragon processor...

I am writing in one of them, a Lenovo notebook...

Hi,

The keyboard on the Surface I have does not have a right ctrl key or a insert key. The Copilot key is there. I love the Lenovo keyboard with at the top right ,the home, end, insert and delete.

The Surface I have has home, end as a modifier on the arrow keys.

Best

George

Hi,
Apart from the right control key already mentioned, no issues at all.

The touch screen helps sometimes by letting you knwo where things are on the screen. I do wish touchscreen interactions had some more sounds though.

I do recommend hunting for ARM apps though if you can, like if an app you use has an ARM version, use it.

Hth.

hello,

More over, if you use the Sharpkeys utility, you can remap the print screen key to act like the context menu key, this is very important for us.

Or he can use the remap key add-on.

It works less well in my opinion, I mean the key is slower to react.

but it exists, sure.

Thanks all for feedback.  I am more concerned about stability of the system than particular keyboard layouts.  Not that keyboard layout isn't important.  I am contemplating a Surface tablet with access to it via an existing Bluetooth keyboard.
Thanks again all

Andrew

Good to know Rui.  I am thinking of the tablet for portability and boldly assume that its stability would be good too.
