Hi everyone,
I’m writing to provide a final update regarding my previous queries about NVDA not announcing the "High Importance" status of emails in Outlook.
After several attempts to resolve this, including trying various scripts and configuration tweaks, I found that the status of importance simply would not report. Based on these tests, I have concluded that the issue is tied to the specific version of Microsoft Office I am currently using. It appears that until I update or upgrade my Office applications to a more recent version, this specific announcement feature is not functioning as expected.
I wanted to share this so others facing similar challenges might save some troubleshooting time.
Thank you all so much for your suggestions and support throughout this process; I truly appreciate the help from this community. This is just a "for your information" message, so no further response or troubleshooting is needed.
P.S. Can anyone acknowledge the receipt of this mail please, having trouble managing mail with my Outlook application.
Warm regards,
Mister Kayne
