For some reason, for a few months now, if I play certain videos NVDA will read what is being said. Is there a setting where I need to change this with NVDA or is it due to the program from where the video is being played. They are using vimeo. thanks.

Hi Betsy,

Have you tried turning off subtitles on Vimeo?

Have you tried “Report Dynamic Content Change” (NVDA + number row 7)?

If that doesn’t work, revert back to the saved configuration (NVDA + CTRL + R) without restarting it.

HTH,

Snehashish.
