Hello all,

I’m looking to read message archives sent to this list. Is there a way to find these? I’m asking because I’ve sent multiple messages to this list, only to find they haven’t been responded to,  so I’m just checking to see if the messages I’m sending are actually coming through.

Thanks.

do you mean you have answered messages or sent messages starting a
thread? Google Groups, if you use some e-mail programs such as
Thunderbird and answer a message using control r, will reply only to the
single person whose message you are replying to. To write to the list
in Thunderbird, there is a command to use in an opened message which
will respond to the list. It is control shift l. While most lists reply
to the list when using control r, Google Groups and this or that other
list won't and in those cases, be in the opened message and use control
shift l to reply.

Also, if you use GMail, you won't see your reply because it isn't sent
to you by GMail unless you are replying to a Groups.io message.
Groups.io has a work around to cause that to happen.

correction on that. They fixed it so that control r will reply to the
list. I'm using Thunderbird to reply to this. As for the google
archives  you will click conversations from within your google group.
search for that with control nvda F in browse mode if you cannot find
it. Hopefully that is the correct hover text.

Unfortunately, it hasn't. Maybe you changed Thunderbird to reply to the
list with control r and don't remember, but I just tried with a copy of
Thunderbird that hasn't been changed to do that and it still replies to
the sender. I don't think it is possible to change this behavior in
Google Groups.

Hi Geen,

Thanks for the response. I use outlook, and control+shift+r will reply all members in group list such as this one. I like use control+r as well. I did art ouple of threads here, but this is the first O I've gotten any kind of response to.

As to the direct address for the archives, it is
https://groups.google.com/a/nvaccess.org/g/nvda-users

That was told me by someone writing me privately.

I checked and the link is correct. There is a good deal of material on
the page before the archives but you can immediately move from the top
of the page to the archive by typing x. Each thread has its own check
box so you can move from thread to thread by typing x repeatedly.
