Dear NVDA Users List,
I'm experiencing an issue with NVDA's Sound Split Mode setting on my Windows 10 desktop computer running NVDA 2025.3.1.
I've set Sound Split Mode to "NVDA on the right and applications in both channels", but whenever I put my computer to hibernate and wake it up, the setting appears to change, and I can hear NVDA on both channels. However, I've noticed that the setting hasn't actually changed, as pressing Alt+A applies my original setting, and I can escape out of the Settings dialog without making any changes.
This issue only occurs after hibernation, not after shutting down or restarting the computer. As a workaround, I've been re-applying my desired setting each time I wake the computer, but I'd appreciate any insight into the cause of this behavior or potential solutions.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Sincerely,
