Seeking assistance regarding WhatsAppPlus add-on feedback and empty author response

Dear Members,

 

I recently reached out to Kostya Gladkiy, the author of the WhatsAppPlus add-on for NVDA, with some feedback and feature suggestions. While I did receive a reply from him, the message came through completely blank—both NVDA and Be My Eyes confirmed there was no readable text in the body of his response.

 

Since I am unable to connect with him directly to discuss these improvements, I am reaching out to the community for help. Would anyone happen to have an alternate way to contact Kostya, or could someone help bridge the gap and get these feature suggestions across to him?

Dear Kostya,

 

I recently downloaded the WhatsAppPlus add-on from the store and have been playing around with the hotkeys. While it takes some getting used to—especially when switching back and forth with Microsoft Teams at work—it is already a huge help. I really appreciate the ALT + R shortcut to quickly reply to a message in a chat. However, I noticed that pressing Control + C to copy a message from the message list does not work as intended for some reason.

 

Based on my experience so far, I have a few critical suggestions for improvements and new hotkeys that would make a massive difference if they could be implemented:

1. Control + Alt + U: Filter to unread messages

2. Control + Alt + G: Filter to groups

3. Control + Alt + A: Remove filter and show all messages

4. Control + 1: Updates tab

5. Control + 2: Chats tab

6. Control + 3: Calls tab

7. Control + S: Settings / You tab

I am not sure how much difference this will make in your world, but it will give me the personal satisfaction of properly appreciating your work on this add-on.
