Why would it need to take over a legacy groups.io group please?
David
HI David
There’s been a lot of dissatisfaction from users on this group already because Google Groups lacks some features that users of groups.io find useful.
One of the reasons for not using groups.io was that they now don’t offer free groups to members of above a hundred people, but someone had made the offer to NVAccess to transfer ownership of their legacy group to them.
In my view, nobody’s ever 100% satisfied. Whilst I personally find Google Groups a bit clunky, no software is perfect. I don’t feel at the moment that this group is terribly hard to keep up with, but features like muting threads are useful the busier things get, for example.
Sean.
