Hi,
I think reinstalling add-ons may not help completely as some NVDA settings are not honored even with add-ons forcefully enabled. Therefore, I recommend doing a factory reset, then enabling add-ons and reconfiguring settings.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi,
Press Control+NVDA+R three times (restart NVDA right after to make sure default settings are saved).
Cheers,
Joseph
I've had that happen once. I had to do a clean install and reinstall all of my add ons from scratch. This was about 2-3 years ago. somethign corrupted during the transition.
Try a truely clean install in this case.
Thank you. Ok, I will clean install again.
You are assuming the the saved configuration caused the problem. You don't know. You will probably never know what caused the problem unless, perhaps a log might show what happened and I don't think a copy of a log that old still exists.
Saving the configuration as you did generally works well and I
doubt there is a better way. For all you know, even if there is
another way, you might have had exactly the same problem.
In short, just because one thing follows another doesn't mean the
first thing caused the second. We don't know what caused the
problem.
