Wingit does not show NVDA

I am using Windows 11 25h2, nvda 2025.3.3, powershell 7.5.4 and Microsoft.WindowsTerminal 1.23.20211.0. I usually use winget upgrade --all --include-unknown --accept-source-agreements to update softwares.

I was updating my softwares on 1st March and noticed that it does not update nvda from 2025.3.2 to 2025.3.3. Yes, we can update from help > check for update and nvda also prompts for update automatically. However, I want to update my softwares on a certain schedule.

I am not complaining. rather, I am curious why while it updates most software, why is nvda missing from wingit?

Perhaps NVDA is not listed on Winget repositories? I could be wrong though, as I never upgrade NVDA using Winget.

Hello!

I tried this command on one of my machines with NVDA2025.2.2 installed at the moment of testing and got same result, repeating this operation after winget CLI was updated also didn't find a newest NVDA version, but using command

winget upgrade nvaccess.nvda

a newest version, 2025.3.3 was found and successfully installed, so you can add this command to your script as temporarily workaround if it is suitable for you.
