On this list I can do a "reply to sender" because I did it with someone tonight and it went to the person only. It is with groups.io that I can not do a reply to sender with Thunderbird. I was trying to do that with Thunderbird to find out if a person who was posting was the one I knew from years ago. It would be nice if all groups worked the same but then life would be too easy, right. challenges keep are minds awake and working. It would be dull to me if I did not have any challenges in life even though they can be frustrating sometimes.

Quentin, thank you so much for keeping up with the group, as well as other programmers on NVDA to find out what we are struggling with. This is such a neat company or whatever you want to call it because the programmers listen and reply.

That is exactly what I am saying. With this list, using reply sends
only to the sender. In groups..io lists, and in most other lists, just
using reply sends to the entire list. So for this list, a Google Groups
list, use control shift l to reply to the list.

Not here it doesn't. I am using Reply, not Reply All. Again, it's the Email client that controls this.

Again, and for the last time, if you are using Outlook Classic, using
just reply will reply to the list. Using the new Outlook will reply to
the original sender only. Of course, the email program may be designed
not to follow the way the list is set up and reply to the list as
Outlook Classic does, but it is not a bug that in two other programs,
reply replies only too the owner.
