I am surprised that it is the end of a phrase that you are missing rather than the beginning. What often happens with Bluetooth devices is that they turn off when not receiving a signal. In such cases the beginning of the next phrase that NVDA sends is missed. Under Audio in NVDA Settings there is an option to keep devices awake. It would be worth checking what yours is set to. Increasing the duration may minimally affect battery life, but not a big issue.
There are, I think, NVDA add-ons for keeping Bluetooth devices awake. Before the option was added in NVDA I wrote a script to do the job.
Having said all that, I repeat that I am surprised that it is the end of phrases that you miss.
