Clip Content Designer Beta Gets Error upon Attempted Update from add-on Store

When I attempt to update the add-on, I get this when I restart NVDA.
Failed to install add-on from
C:\Users\richw\AppData\Roaming\nvda\addonStore\_dl\clipContentsDesigner-48.1.0.nvda-addon
OK

Hi Richard, I con't get this error on my system. Can you please try to remove the add-on from NVDA's menu, Tools Submenu, Add-on store?

Then try to install the beta version. I don't know what it's going wrong.

[NVDA Screen Reader Discussion]

Hi Richard,

Could you please send us a full log off-list (i.e. to in...@nvaccess.org or se...@nvaccess.org) and steps to reproduce this?
Alternatively and preferably, please open a GitHub issue.
To get around this in the mean time, I suggest deleting that file and attempting to install the add-on again.

Hi,

 

I had the same issue with NVDAExtensionGlobalPlugin and in my case, the cause of the problem was the NVDA configuration profiles. 

I recommend checking the existing configuration or, if you don’t want to tinker with it, installing the add-on on a portable copy without existing configurations.
