NVDA changing screen background

My girlfriend who is sighted and uses this computer told me a few months ago that the background of the screen is now black and use to be white. I wonder if an NVDA update caused this to happen. The only thing I did is try to change the sound scheme in windows 11. Now how would the sound scheme change the background to black.

A change in screen background could be from a changed windows settin also.
