Hello:
In this stable version, available for NVDA 2026.1rc, the default folder will be configured for profiles, i.e., it won't longer be profile independent.
Please, if you use placeMarkers and NVDA 2026.1rc1, update to this version (52.0.0), available from the add-on store, to prevent an error when NVDA is restarted after changing and saving the state of the screen curtain.
Thanks to contributors of this and other add-ons, and, in this case, many thanks to the person who has reported this bug privately.
