HI there,
I've got a Braille Emotion made by HIMS Inc, and I'm having an issue when I try and connect the braille display to my laptop with bluetooth. When I turn on the display and want to connect to  NVDA, I have to select the braille display each time in NVDA settings. I have it set to automatic by default, and I would think it should be able to recognize when the display is turned on. I know that is the case for the display when I use it with JAWS on this computer, and VoiceOver on my iPhone. IS this something that I will have to do, select the HIMS display each time I want to use the device? Or is there a workaround? I checked the NVDA user guide,  but there doesn't appear to be any bluetooth drivers for NVDA with the display, only USB drivers. I am running version 25.3.2 of NVDA, and Windows 11. Thank you for your time, and let me know if I need to clarify anything.

Hello
Have you tryed using it by USB
For NVDA to see what happens
I don't use Braile but it should work
JAWS is a good test  so it isn't anything to do with the   computer

Have you updated the Emotion?

Hims just pushed out a patch to fix issues with NVDA and other screen readers.

Respectfully,
