notifications and nvda

Running latest versions of Win 11 and NVDA.

I download books from the BARD web site.  Normally when I select a book
to download NVDA would announce downloading and the book title.  Now I
get no such announcement.  I tried the same thing with JAWS and got the
normal downloading announcement.  Anyone else seeing this?  Is there a
NVDA setting to block download announcements?

What browser are you using? Make sure Report Dynamic Content Changes is on—press NVDA+5 to toggle it.

I don't think that will work  I have that thing, although I don't mind. it is a chrome flag you have to have on I believe. I just can't remember which one.
