NVDA has merged master to beta, meaning strings for 2026.2 will become available soon.

Please note that these strings are not final, and may continue to change as we approach the 2026.2 translation freeze throughout the 2026.2 beta period.

2026.2beta1 has been released, this means the translation strings for 2026.2 should be relatively stable.

As usual, once our beta is stable, we will announce a translation freeze where no more translation string changes will occur. After that, a Release Candidate will be made with the final translations included. The release process is an overview of how translations factor into each release.

We have now entered the translatable string freeze for NVDA 2026.2.

Translators, you have until 23:59 UTC on 18 August to ensure your translation is up to date in order for it to be included in NVDA 2026.2.
Work submitted after this time will not be included in NVDA 2026.2.

2026.2beta10 is our last planned beta, finalised translations will be included in 2026.2rc1 for testing.
2026.2beta10 is scheduled to go out next Monday.
