Use of Azure voices with NVDA

Earlier this year, the NV Access website published NVDA’s 2025 roadmap. It mentioned that Microsoft Azure TTS would be used with NVDA. When will this be available in NVDA?

We're still in the process of working out a licensing deal with Microsoft that allows us to use Neural voices.
Unfortunately, we don't have a clear date where we can expect this to be resolved by.

Hello,
A while back, I installed an add-on that allowed the use of Natural voices in NVDA. The add-on did not perform well and I removed the add-on. Unfortunately, those natural voices stopped working in Narrator. I can still use the older voices. I went through Microsoft support and into tier 2 support. We reinstalled Windows from an ISO image, which did not help. The tier 2 removed natural voices and reinstalled. Still that did not work. They report I am the only one reporting this issue.
So, I am happily using Narrator with the other voices, but if anybody has a clue on what might be going on, please let me know.
