here is an NVDA addon I think everyone will like. yes, it is a bit laggy, works best as a say all voice, but this tts is open source. and yes you can even clone your own voices for it! It is pocket tts for NVDA. oh and you can share your cloned voices with others by sharing the npy files.

This is a cool addon, I've had a lot of fun with my friends cloning voices and hearing the AI glitch out. Its cool that these open source synths are coming out, and I hope one day we'll get to a point where neural TTS has as little latency as possible.

LOL!

But yes, quite interesting, and will say that it's not too bad at cloning a voice from a .mp3 file - not perfect, but very close.

Stay well

I didn't get as far as cloning a voice.  A synthesizer with no speed adjustment is not for me, or did I miss something?

nope, speed isnt a thing I can see either. But these voices are intended for long-form reading, not system navigation. They weren't designed with screen reading in mind in particular.

Thanks

Sean

This is not a complaint. Can I ask, why is the cloned voice volume so low/soft? The sample voice I imported is actually quite normal in its volume.
