Hi everyone,

I hope you are all doing well.

I’ve managed to forget the specific keyboard shortcut used to have NVDA report the information in an application's status bar or status pane.

I am looking for the command that triggers NVDA to read those specific details—for instance, checking the "Connected to Microsoft Exchange" or "Send/Receive" status in Outlook, or reporting the page count and current view in Microsoft Word.

If anyone could help refresh my memory on what that shortcut is, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for your help!

Warm regards,

Hi,

NVDA + shift + end and you can go to help and read the manual and also the list of keys.  This is NVDA + n and down arrow to help.

Best

George

It’s in the system focus section. But if you just use the filter box in the input gestures area and type status bar, you’ll see that. 😊
