How’s it going?

Hope everyone is well and in good health.

I’m curious, is there a way to make NVDA stop speaking “Blank” when navigating e-mails and other things? I have tried looking in the document formatting settings, but I can’t find anything related to this. I’ve turned offline indentation reporting but still hearing “Blank” when reading lines. Any ideas to fix this?

Thanks.

If you're down arrowing and get to a blank line, NVDA will report it.  We do have an open issue to suppress this, though at present the suggested workaround is to read with NVDA+down arrow (or NVDA+a if using laptop layout) which is the "say all" command.

Kind regards

Quentin.

To decrease the number of blanks I hear, I often read by paragraph with ctrl+down. It doesn’t remove them all, but it helps some.
