Quentin, while it's not been an issue for me since don't generally work with SAPI, gave it a quick try, and it does now seem to let you halt, or pause say all immediately while working with a SAPI synth.

All my SAPI voices are working perfectly now after beta 2. Many thanks to you guys for addressing this so promptly. I appreciate it. Actually it feels like my SAPI voices, Ivona in particular, are more responsive now than ever before.
