Hello.

I'm currently using NVDA 2026.1.1 with Windows 11 25H2 and TesseractOCR
version 2026.05.24. Previously when using earlier versions of this
add-on, I have scanned a document by pressing control windows W and
after answering no to the prompt to scan more pages, the result has been
displayed on screen. Since upgrading to NVDA 2026.1.1 and the latest
version of the add-on, I have been unable to access the scanned output.
The scan completes successfully and an image file is created in:

"C:\Users\Mo
Iqbal\AppData\Roaming\nvda\addons\tesseractOCR\globalPlugins\tesseractOCR\images\ocr001.jpg"

However, the add-on does not seem to perform OCR beyond this point. It
doesn't create a file in my documents called OCR.txt and open it as it
did before.

Before I file an issue on GitHub, Is anyone else experiencing this and
is there a solution?

Very best wishes,

Mo.

Hi!

The problem is already detected and solved...

It is awaiting approval in the add-on store...

You can get it from:

https://github.com/ruifontes/tesseractOCR/releases/download/2026.06.16/tesseractOCR-2026.06.16.nvda-addon
