bookmarks again

I have tried to save a  bookmark again and am not being successful. could a setting have gotten changed not to allow it or does it not allow you to save one if once you are on the site where you have to enter a password?

-- I also have noticed that it looks like I can only find certain
bookmarks under the list choice. How do I get to the rest of them and
why are they not under the list option? I hope this makes sense.

You used the term "bookmark." I think bookmarks are possible in PDF files (though I have used them only occasionally). Bookmarks in Microsoft Word should work just fine.

From your reference to passwords, however, I think you may be thinking of Placemarkers. The Placemarker addin works on many webpages; however, the Placemarker addin just doesn't work on some sites. For instance, on Bible Gateway, Placemarkers just do not work. I have no idea why.

For the bookmarks question, I advice to use a more specific subject, for people who hasn't read other threads.

About placeMarkers add-on, I'm the maintainer of this add-on.

Feel free to open a new thread if you feel that something can be done to improve its behavior, specifying the version you are using, steps to reproduce the undesired behavior, and the URL where it doesn't work.
