Death Announcement

Greetings!

At the end of the day yesterday, my dear Friend Rui Fontes left this world.

As we all know, he was a moderator for some of these lists, so the other moderators should think about his replacement.

The Portuguese Team has become poorer, as, at this moment, until my health permits, I am the only remaining member.

With the passing of this individual, the world of the visually impaired has become poorer, as a willful and tireless worker has been lost.

May his soul rest in peace.

Hi Àngelo and all, please pass on my sincere condolences too.

As Quentin sais, he was a tireless advocated person regarding the blind community and NVDA, and I think that what they did and himself with his value and actions won't be replaced.

I always liked his activity as a moderator in the users group due to his responsiveness when something was required.

And I was highly impressed when, in an issue, which I had searched to confirm it, he stated, when I suggested that he may create a pull request, he said with absolute sincerity and directly that he didn't had enough knowledge to create it.

These kind of qualities aren't very common, I think. Issue is 19042 in the NVDA repo. His literal words are:

I am not yet knowledgeable enough to make such a pull request...

Rest in peace.
