Question about Potential Collaboration

Dear NumFOCUS and Toqito Project Team,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Emir Kaan Özdemir, and I am reaching out to explore the possibility of contributing to the Toqito project.

I am a data scientist and AI engineer with expertise in quantum artificial intelligence. Despite still being in high school, I achieved the highest possible score (500/500) in Turkey’s national high school entrance exam and currently study at the country's most prestigious high school, Istanbul Erkek Lisesi. My deep knowledge spans quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and programming in Python and Q#. I have also authored a book on quantum physics, currently in progress.

My work includes various quantum AI technologies, and some of my research papers have been submitted to Q1-ranked journals, now undergoing the publication process. Additionally, I am a member of my country's AI team, actively engaging in research and development for IOAI (Internationtal Olympiads in Artificial Intelligence). While I do not hold a university degree yet, I am eager to contribute to Toqito by leveraging my knowledge and skills in quantum computing and algorithm development.

"GSoC aims to help people started in the open-source world. However, toqito aims to recruit new long-term contributors/maintainers. Because toqito is for a relatively niche scientific/engineering topic, we are doubtful to accept a proposal from anyone without some background in quantum computing. Without some relevant background, completing a meaningful project in the period allowed by the GSoC program will be challenging." From what I understand from this part, you want someone with a background. How likely is it that I will be selected for this study?
