Dear NumFOCUS and Aeon Project Team,

I hope you’re doing well. My name is Shiva Kumar Radharapu, and I am interested in contributing to the Aeon project as part of Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025.

I have been working on a proposal titled "Lack of Performance Testing for Multithreaded Estimators", where I aim to enhance the project's benchmarking capabilities by integrating efficient multithreading performance tests. I believe this would significantly improve the reliability and efficiency of Aeon’s estimators.

I wanted to reach out to ensure that my proposal aligns with the project's vision and to seek any feedback or suggestions that could help refine it further before submission. Additionally, I would love to discuss how I can best contribute to the Aeon ecosystem during GSoC.
