Hello pandas and NumFOCUS communities,

My name is Mangali Sai Krishna, and I am a second-year AIML student at Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology. I am reaching out to express my commitment to contributing to pandas for GSoC 2026.

I have successfully established my development environment on Fedora and have already begun contributing. I currently have an open documentation Pull Request that has passed all Continuous Integration (CI) checks: https://github.com/pandas-dev/pandas/pull/63545

This PR improves the "10 minutes to pandas" guide by adding a self-contained "Student Scores" example to clarify database-style joins and NaN handling. I chose this task because I believe practical, isolated examples are crucial for new data scientists.

I am eager to contribute more to the documentation and eventually the core codebase as I prepare my GSoC proposal. I look forward to your feedback and to becoming an active member of the community.

Best regards,

Mangali Sai Krishna
