My name is Daria, and I am currently a student at CIT, Chennai, pursuing a degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. I am very interested in contributing to NumFOCUS and supporting its open-source initiatives.

As part of my initial contribution, I have submitted a pull request to improve the clarity of the README by adding a brief descriptive line. My intention is to make the project more accessible and understandable for new contributors.
