Hi Mentors,
I’m Lungsom Lamnio, a Python developer and GSoC 2025 aspirant interested in contributing to NetworkX. I have experience in Python, graph algorithms, and web development, and I have worked on AI-based Smart Traffic Management systems, where I explored network graphs for traffic flow optimization.
I am also the Web Dev Lead at Google Developers Group on Campus, where I contribute to developer communities and mentor students in web technologies.
I checked the NetworkX GSoC idea list and found the project “Pedagogical Interactive Notebooks for Algorithms” very interesting. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts and making them interactive, and I believe this project would be a great fit for me. I would love to contribute by creating Jupyter notebooks that explain and visualize graph algorithms to help users understand them better.
Could you guide me on where to start and any beginner-friendly issues I can explore? Also, are there any specific algorithms that need more attention in the notebooks?
Looking forward to your response! Thanks in advance. 😊
Best,
Lungsom Lamnio
