Interest in GSoC 2025 Project with igraph

Dear NumFOCUS Community,

My name is Sunav Sunil Mattoo, and I am a first-year student with an AI/ML background. I am interested in contributing to igraph for GSoC 2025, particularly the project "Degree-Constrained Null Models and Graph Construction."

I have been exploring the igraph codebase, focusing on functions like rewire(), realize_degree_sequence(), and is_graphical(). I look forward to engaging with the community and contributing meaningfully to the project.
