Hi everyone,

I’m Salih Tangel, a Master's student. I would like to inform the community that I have officially submitted my GSoC proposal for a project under NumFOCUS

My expertise lies in both C and Python, and I have a strong interest in the internal architecture of GRASS GIS. I believe my technical background is well-suited for projects that require a deep understanding of how low-level functionalities interact with high-level Python interfaces. I have already been contributing to the GRASS ecosystem through several PRs and bug fixes, and I am eager to take on more significant responsibilities during the summer.

I am looking forward to participating in the community and would greatly appreciate any feedback on my proposal from the mentors during the review period.
