Good Morning,

Passing along a community impact opportunity for STEM professionals. It's a quick turnaround but worthwhile to at least share with local NSBE professionals. Feel free to follow up directly with Renee.

Thanks,

Courtney

Good afternoon, Courtney

It was great meeting you today.

As discussed, my church, Kingdom Fellowship African Methodist Episcopal Church, 11710 Beltsville Drive, Calverton, MD, host an Annual Vacation Bible Camp for K-5th grades. We are looking for STEM professionals to provide hands on activities with the children Monday-Wednesday, July 22-24, 2034, from 10:00am – 10:50am. The volunteers may arrive as early as 9:00am to set up. The kids are divided into the following grade groups, and we need volunteers as noted:

K-1st (2 volunteers) – 29 kids per classroom

2nd-3rd (2 volunteers) – 20 kids per classroom

4th-5th (1 volunteer) – 36 kids

The theme for this year’s camp is Start a Party: Celebrate the Good News. So, anything fun would be great. The church supplies all the materials and resources. I would just need a list of materials NLT Monday, July 8th. Also, we ask that leaders complete a background check.

Please let me know if you know of individuals willing to assist.

Regards,

Renee
