Hope all is well. I am reaching out with another opportunity to enrich the scholars of Friendship Public Charter School!

SEEKING ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS

We are currently in the process of establishing a Career and Technical Education (CTE) advisory board, and we are looking for industry leaders to join our board.

Individuals with experience and insights in Engineering, Agriculture, Health Science and IT would be invaluable in shaping our CTE programs to better align with the needs of the industry and prepare our students for successful careers. Members of the advisory board would:

• Provide strategic guidance on curriculum development and program enhancements.
• Offer feedback on industry trends and skill requirements.
• Collaborate with educators and stakeholders to foster meaningful partnerships.
• Members would not only benefit our institution but also contribute to the advancement of the broader community by ensuring our graduates are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the workforce.

SEEKING JOB SHADOWING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FRIENDSHIP CTE TEACHERS

We are currently seeking opportunities for our Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers to participate in job shadowing experiences.

Our goal is to enrich the professional development of our educators by providing them with firsthand insights into industry practices and the latest advancements in Engineering, Agriculture, Health Science, or IT. Job shadowing would enable our teachers to:

• Deepen their understanding of industry-specific skills and competencies.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies relevant to our CTE curriculum.
• Establish connections with professionals to facilitate future collaborations and student opportunities.
• We are open to various durations for these experiences, ranging from a half-day to multiple days, based on availability and mutual convenience.
